Week Ending - Sept. 9

Monday, 9/3/12

Mid morning it was already fairly warm and she didn't seem to be feeling her best (loose stool) so we took it easy and did a run/walk deal around the park a couple of laps. She's always happy just to be out of the shelter and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the park

Tuesday, 9/4/12
w/ Griffin @ Wash Park, 60 mins
Today he flew out the door and led the way all the way over to the park, guess he's got the routine down. Really nice morning to out there and Griff kept a strong pace the whole way.
Solo @ White Ranch Park, 1:38  ~1900' vertical
Afternoon run with temps in the upper 80's but nice to be back on trails. Took Longhorn trail for the climb up and got to the Rawhide trail intersection in 46:41 (PR). Went up to Sawmill, over to Belcher Hill and back across Maverick trail to Longhorn for the run back down.

Wednesday, 9/5/12
Solo @ Green Mountain in Boulder, 1:36  ~2500' vertical
Ran up Amphitheater - Saddle Rock route, hitting the summit in 56:16 (PR). Decent was down Ranger - Gregory canyon. Great day out with cool temps, feels like summer is about over.

Thursday, 9/6/12
w/ Griffin @ Wash Park, 60 mins
Nice cool morning and Griff had pep in his step. We cruised over to the park and did our inner and outer loops. Aside from one short rest break, he ran the full hour.
w/ Auggie @ Great Lawn Park, 59 mins
Solid run as always with Auggie - ran from his house to the park, did one big loop and ran back. 3 stops for water, hopefully next week will be cooler.

Friday, 9/7/12
w/ Griffin @ Wash Park, 60 mins
Another solid run with Griff boy, he wasted no time getting over to the park today. He's getting in better shape with noticeably better stamina and pace.
w/ Flynn & Otis @ Platte River trail, 44 mins
Smooth run for the boys along the city bike trails, nice to have a sub 90 degree day. 20 mins of barefoot running.

Saturday, 9/8/12
w/ Flynn @ Garden of the Gods, 46 mins.
Spending the weekend in Colorado Springs, got in an easy run with Flynn before hitting Pikes tomorrow.

Sunday, 9/9/12
Solo @ Pikes Peak, 5:59  ~7300' vertical
Happy to make the round trip up and down the mountain in just under 6 hours. Started at day break at the base of Barr trail and took a fairly casual pace taking pics, etc.
